Join Our Youth Choir
We are thrilled to partner with UUMC in Central Austin to provide a FREE choir to students age 8-14. The Youth Choir will meet one evening a week under the direction of Alicia Villareal. Students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of repetroire, develop their vocal technique, improve their music reading and performance skills, and make life-long friends through music.
Meet Your Director
Alicia Villareal, Choir Director
Alicia is a graduate of Texas State University, where she earned her Master of Music in Choral Conducting, and Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Alicia is a certified Music Educator in the state of Texas and has extensive experience in the secondary choral classroom. She currently serves as the Director of Music at UUMC Austin and is the Assistant Artistic Director of Illumine, a company of young voices.
